Finding Solutions, Offering Hope

When traditional medications for depression don’t work, there’s still hope for a happier future.

Depression is much more than negative thinking. It is a biological condition that causes physical changes to your brain's activity levels, particularly in areas responsible for mood regulation, emotional processing, and even memory. We focus on these physical alterations for the most effective form of relief.

How Do Our TMS Treatments Work?

During TMS treatment, we'll use NeuroStar Advanced Therapy® technology to produce a highly focused magnetic pulse directed to the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. First, patients are leaned back with the headrest adjusted to make them as comfortable as possible. Next, the patient is positioned with paper straps to ensure little movement and precise application of the pulse. Finally, a small figure-eight coil is applied directly to the scalp, where it will administer MRI-strength rapid pulses at staggered intervals.
